Rapper “The Game” Has Legal Problems After a Tweet about the Sheriff

Los Angeles prosecutors are considering bringing charges against rapper The Game, after he tweeted something that caused thousands of people to call the sheriff’s station.  According to Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office, the rapper (whose real name is Jayceon Taylor) could face a series of misdemeanor counts after the pending criminal investigation.

Foxy Brown has gotten off of the hook after her latest run in with the law. While already on probation for an incident that happened with a neighbor back in 2010, she violated her terms of agreement last July when she allegedly mooned her neighbor. Because the  alleged victim, Arlene Raymond, was not willing to testify against Brown, the case was dismissed on July 13th.

ABC News Apologies for Nicki Minaj’s Wardrobe Malfunction

ABC News has issued an apology for the malfunction heard around the world.

Rapper Nicki Minaj was giving a live performance for Good Morning America on Friday, August 5.  During the performance, her nipples were exposed as she was wearing a loose-fitting halter top that she had to keep adjusting.

Chuck D. Calls Out Jay-Z and Kanye West for Materialism During Economic Hardship

I met the rapper Chuck D at the Measuring the Movement forum, hosted by Rev. Al Sharpton.  I sat next to Chuck for a good 30 minutes during the panel discussion and got to appreciate his humility and intelligence as it pertains to the plight of black people.  What I also noticed was that Chuck stands a far cry away from his peers regarding whether or not they give a damn about the people who are buying their albums.

The Dramatic Nicki Minaj 911 Call is Released

Last month, rapper, Nicki Minaj was involved in a violent incident at a hotel in Dallas.  It is alleged that Minaj’s managed and boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, hit her in the face with a suitcase.  The hotel manager then called police because the couple refused to leave their hotel.

Lil Wayne Sued for $15 Million

The rapper Lil Wayne has been sued for $15 million by a company that claims that he stole the song “Bedrock.”  The suit, which was filed in New York, was brought forth by Done Deal Enterprises.  The company says that Dwayne Carter (aka Lil Wayne) committed copyright infringement after they created the song back in 2009.  The song also features Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lloyd.   It reached number 2 on the Bill Board charts back in 2010.
